Marketing feels like a full-time job—and for people like us, who already have full-time jobs (aka running the actual business), that’s a problem. You’ve got customers to serve, emails to answer, invoices to send… and now you’re supposed to be a full-time content creator too?
If you’re nodding while internally screaming, I’ve got good news. You don’t need to do it all. These fast marketing tips will help you stay visible without spiraling into burnout—or spending your entire Sunday “batching content” and crying into your coffee.
First tip: pick one platform and do it well. You don’t need to be on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, AND YouTube. Choose the one where your audience actually hangs out, and double down on it.
Next: batch your content monthly. Set aside 2–3 hours (yes, just once a month) to plan, write, and design. Use Canva to knock out graphics and Later or Buffer to schedule everything in one sitting. No more posting on the fly or waking up in a panic because you “forgot to post again.”
Also—repurpose, repurpose, repurpose. One blog post becomes five captions. One video becomes a reel, a carousel, and an email intro. You don’t need more content—you just need to reuse what you’ve already made.
And lastly, track only one metric that matters to you. It could be link clicks, email signups, inquiries—whatever reflects real results. Improve that one thing, and ignore the rest.
These fast marketing tips aren’t about cutting corners. They’re about cutting stress. You didn’t start your business to become a full-time content creator. You started it to do what you’re good at—and marketing should support that, not distract from it.
